And not far away in Germany…

April 1, 2009

Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend (HDJ) or Homeland-Faithful German Youth, a neo folk youth camping group are banned and arrested for, yes, camping!

Their website is here:

http://www.heimattreue-jugend.de/

…but the site appears to be blocked, Mr Conroy?

A youth camping group banned because they talk nice about Uncle Adolf? Germany has to have legislation like this, or else it will beat all the other nations to the punch reinstating fascism. They are going to have fun keeping a lid on Germany in the coming years…

Watching German news on Panorama, see here, condemn these Hitler Youth style camping meetings is like trying to watch a fish condemn the sea. When you know all they want to do is swim. The sea is waiting…

Chimes of…”the Future belongs to us”…

Here is one of the charming videos of HDJ, for your information, featuring dancing, singing, snow fights and torch light poetry. Yes, plenty of reasons to arrest people here? Traditionalism and community are to be discouraged in our post modern world, remember…

Heimat was a fascinating deep ecology idea of the 19th and 20th century German intellectuals, particularly the Nazi’s, who were Green in the 30’s. Yes, no, or much less, Global Warming if a certain Mustachioed villain, had won a certain war, ho hum. Heimat – could it be a dream of a New Green World beyond race and ethnicity?
